Shine in Ash are an Italian metal band born in Padua in 2007.
The band was founded by the bass player Enrico Coi , the
guitarist Paolo Braghetto (who is also the main composer) and the singer and lyricist Eleonora Sattin. The final line up was acquired when the keyboard player Giorgia Alfonsi and the drummer Giovanni Renzini joined the band.

A classical symphonic metal album. Even if you can think it is rough, I do appreciate this. I hope their sophomore album will be more polished in post-production, but not too much.

When you are looking for first class female fronted or gothic metal somewhere between Nightwish and Evanescence you should not miss "Spellbound". ELVELLON's symphonic style is maybe not original but the songs are atmospheric, catchy and finished with just the right portion of pathos. A lot of gothic metal bands try to create emotional impact but only few are so talented to create such a dreamlike and inspiring atmosphere. From zero to the olymp of gothic metal, no weak track here!
